Who are we.

We are a New Zealand owned and operated Construction Recruitment agency looking to help change and improve our workforce to benefit the construction industry.

 

For our clients, we provide general and skilled labourers who can communicate well, follow instructions and are strong with a positive attitude who are willing to support our clients wherever, whenever.

For our candidates, depending on the experience level, we provide a mentorship programme for school leavers and newcomers to the industry. This is to supply stepping stones that will help our candidates build a career within the construction industry.

Flame Stoppers Passive Fire Protection

We are a sister company of Flame Stoppers who are specialists in Passive Fire Protection.

 

One of the reasons that Direct Recruitment was created was to help find top quality local talent to work on the large projects that Flame Stoppers continually have coming in.

 

Once our workers have spent 6–9 months on other sites, building on their experience using tools and showing us that they are reliable and committed we will move them over to work on Flame Stopper's projects to further their career growth. We see this as progression and essentially they are graduating from Direct Recruitment to now go and strengthen their own career in Passive Fire or elsewhere within the industry.
